Located near Paynesville, Minnesota, this "cabin style" camp offers camps involving horseback riding, waterfront activities, hiking, crafts, sports, and more. Seasonally we seek counselors (salaried positions; must be 18 years or older) who are responsible for campers; lead activities such as Bible studies, games, recreation, and crafts; and work with volunteers at camp.
Located near Park Rapids, Minnesota, this is a "cabin style" camp with programs involving treehouse camping, waterfront activities, some canoeing, crafts, recreational field, and more. Hosts Christian Friendship Camps for special-needs campers.
Located near Ely, Minnesota, Kowakan Adventures is a wilderness ministry that leads church groups into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. On-site camping and day trips are available.
Camp Minnesota, of the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, is seeking a certified nurses (RNs) for our summer camping season. Camp Nurses live on-site throughout the summer camping season and are on 24 hour call when campers are present. Our campsites are accredited through the American Camp Association and have health centers that operate under physician signed standing orders/procedures. The Camp Nurse is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe health center, administering medications, maintaining records, assisting in emergencies, and providing high quality care for routine health needs as well as to ill or injured campers, guests and staff.
